What I'm Wearing: The Imitation Zone

2015 fashion has been heavily dominated by a seventies comeback. Covering a revival of everything from vintage folk to retro punk. I have always been obsessed with all think of a forgotten era as well. My chosen decade is two earlier than the David Bowie's and Runaways of this world, but I'm still a fan of these cute and chic styles.
One day last week I was wearing this roll neck top that's an absolute favourite of mine, and I remembered seeing this corduroy dunger-dress and in my mind an outfit was formed. I got it last week for my birthday and I love it. Navy and Burgundy work beautifully together and teaming it with my platform Litas.

Navy Roll Neck Top - American Apparel
Burgundy Pinafore Dress - Topshop
Gold Letter Necklace - Eclectic Eccentricity
Cat Tapestry Litas - Jeffrey Campbell
K.I.S.S.ING Lipstick in Night Crimson - Charlotte Tilbury
Naked Smoky Palette Eyeshadows in High, Dirtysweet, Radar and Whiskey - Urban Decay

I am loving this trend at the minuet and will definitely be trying out more seventies inspired looks. The thing with retro trends like this is finding the right balance between vintage and modern. What's your favourite trend at the minuet?
